- Majors of academic degrees obtained in one of the following majors: mechanics, applied maths, and mechanical engineering
 - Proficiency in English communications both written and spoken English
 - Good skills in programming, preferably in FORTRAN and/or C++, MATLAB, or Python
 - Applicants with one or several of the following research experiences are preferred: solid mechanics, continuum mechanics, machine learning, biomechanics, computational methods for fracture, and FEM
 - Knowledge in ANSYS and ABAQUS software.
